Room O had a wonderful visit to the Coach House
Museum today. It was
interesting learning about the history and development of Feilding. I can
imagine how difficult it would have been for the settlers who had to live in
tents as they cleared the land of its bush and developed it into farmable land. All
of Room O definitely enjoyed the visit, especially the machinery and the chance
to sit in the driver’s seat. Thank you
to our parents for providing transport and to Brian who shared his knowledge of
Feilding history with us.
Here is the link to the website if you
would like to read up on some of Feilding’s History.
The Coach House looks great. What would you do if you could travel back in time and work on the land and use the old machinery?
